These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Tandem mobile application. By using Tandem, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
2. Account Registration & Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
3. Service Description
Tandem provides shared tools for couples including calendars, todos, and finance tracking. Features may change or be limited in availability.
4. User Content
You own the content you submit. You grant Tandem a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, process, and display your content solely to operate and improve the service. You are responsible for the content you post.
5. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service unlawfully or to harass others.
- Attempt to access accounts or data you do not own.
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with the service.
- Upload malicious code or misuse storage.
6. Subscriptions, Trials, and Billing
- Tandem offers subscription plans.
- A 1-week free trial is available; unless canceled before it ends, your subscription will automatically renew.
- Billing and refunds are handled by the App Store or Google Play.
- Prices and taxes may vary by region.
7. Third-Party Services
Tandem uses third-party services including Supabase, RevenueCat, and PostHog. We are not responsible for third-party services or their policies.
8. Intellectual Property
Tandem and its logos, branding, and software are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy or distribute them without permission.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tandem is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid to us in the past 12 months.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Tandem harmless from claims arising out of your use of the service or violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violations. You may stop using the service at any time. Termination does not affect accrued rights or obligations.

14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. We will notify you in-app or by other reasonable means. The Effective Date above reflects the latest version.
