Tandem ("we," "us," "our") operates the Tandem mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information.

- Account Information: email and password used to create and access your account.
- Profile Information: display name, profile photo, theme preferences, currency, week start, and notification/haptics settings.
- App Content: shared and personal todos, calendar events, and finance entries (amounts, categories, dates, owners).
- Pairing Data: pairing status and related identifiers to connect accounts.
- Feedback: issue/feature reports, message details, attachments you choose to upload, app version, and device platform.
- Analytics Data: usage analytics and device/app metadata collected via PostHog.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide and operate the service (authentication, syncing, pairing, content storage).
- Personalize the app (preferences and settings).
- Provide support and respond to feedback.
- Analyze usage and improve the app.
3. Legal Bases (if applicable)
We process data based on:
- Contract: to provide the service you request.
- Consent: where you choose to provide optional data or allow analytics.
- Legitimate Interests: to improve app reliability and performance.

We share data with service providers and processors, including:
- Supabase (authentication, database, file storage).
- RevenueCat (subscription management).
- PostHog (analytics).
We may also disclose information to comply with legal obligations or protect our rights.

- Account and app content: retained until you delete your account.
- Feedback and attachments: retained as long as needed for support and product improvement, then deleted.
We may retain limited data in backups for a short period after deletion.

The mobile app does not use cookies. We use analytics (PostHog) that may collect device and usage identifiers. You can opt out where available in the app or by contacting us.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you in-app or by other reasonable means. The Effective Date above reflects the latest version.
